We are proud to share a project which recently involved converting a double garage into a home bar and gym, whilst creating a single garage space with its own separate external door for access. Our customers wanted to maximise the use of the existing double garage and convert this into an area for all the family to enjoy. The Home Gym. We are really proud to share a project which was a little different for us and the outcome is just stunning. Our customers requested a purpose-built home gym in their beautiful garden, so that is what we delivered. The works included ground works to lay a concrete base, building the prefabricated structure, plastering, rendering, electrics, installation of windows, bifold doors and laying Karndean Oak flooring. MODERN FARMHOUSE KITCHEN We love working with our customers to bring their wishes and needs to reality from design to installation, giving them a kitchen truly designed to meet their brief. The brief from our customer was to create a modern farmhouse kitchen. This was to be centred around a new more energy efficient AGA from which their family life centres around. The original mantle was retained with its rustic beam to add character to the modern handless kitchen. The AGA has a worktop shelf behind and two extra deep drawers either side to utilise the recess of the chimney. The modern matt black handless American fridge freezer design complements the handless kitchen whilst giving a nod to the traditional AGA without trying to match it. A walk-in larder next to this takes care of all other food and dry goods storage. The sink previously ran in front of the big window overlooking the fields in the distance but this covered the base of the windows. The customer dreamed of having a window seat to be able to look out to the views. So, we created this with large pan drawers below to house the AGA cookware. Removing the sink run from in front of the window meant the island needed to have a large 1.5 bowl sink, dishwasher and integrated recycling bins. As well as needing to maximise storage, this was achieved with full depth cabinets either side of the island. The breakfast bar adds seating at the end of the island without compromising on the storage as its attached on the end panels. Large Scale Project – Kitchen/Utility/Bathroom/WC We are proud to share with you a large scale project including completed kitchen, utility, family bathroom and downstairs WC this was designed, supplied and installed by the NFD team. We undertook large structural works removing one internal wall and opening up the existing archway from the kitchen to the living room. The works also included levelling the ground floor to allow for new tiles to be laid throughout, these were expertly installed by Wayne Hardy. We worked closely with our customers from the detailed design stage through to installation, bringing their vision to life. The Kitchen is from our Masterclass Kitchens Sutton Silk range in Dust Grey and Heather Slate with Light Grey internals. UNIQUE BESPOKE KITCHEN We are very proud to share with you a project which was a little different to our usual kitchen design and installation. Our customer had in mind exactly the look they wanted to achieve so we worked closely with them on the design process. The family has a special connection to nature and the environment. This meant a timber kitchen was essential to help make it feel as close to nature as possible. Handmade from locally sourced English Beech, this timber kitchen was truly bespoke. Traditionally constructed in a tongue and groove format by a professional local joiner New Vision Joinery. All panels have been given a rough newly sawn look. This was then stained in a dark oil helping to accentuate the exposed timber grain. A neat circular cut out was decided as the most discrete handle option for this kitchen.
